General Terms and Conditions – Bid2Win Service
By using Bid2Win service, you will be in acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Customers can activate the Bid2win service by sending the keyword “1” to the SMS code 1020 to subscribe to the daily offer.
OR
activate via Telecel Cash by dialing *110# choose option 4(Make Payments),3(Fun and Games),4(Bid2Win),1(Subscription) and follow the prompts to subscribe for the weekly and monthly offers.
OR
Customers may also activate the Bid2win service by dialing short code *1020# and following the prompts.
- Customers who wish to activate the service should also have sufficient airtime / funds in their Telecel Cash wallet to subscribe to the service.
- Subscriptions attract a charge. There are 2 payment options for subscriptions on the bid2win service. Subscription via 1020 is done through airtime with a price point of GHs 0.9 which automatically renews while subscription via Telecel Cash is on demand and has 2 offers namely weekly (GHs 5) and monthly (GHs 15).
- Customers who need to deactivate the service should do so by sending the keyword End to the SMS code 1020 or dial *463# to deactivate the service.
- All alerts will be provided only in English text.
- Customers who activate the service will be charged a Bid2win subscription fee (see point 3) as communicated to the user at the time of the service activation. Users agree to pay the subscription service fee to activate the service.
- For subscriptions via SMS or shortcode *1020#, the subscription fee of the service will be renewed automatically until the user deactivates the service and will be charged GHs 0.90 upon each offer renewal.
- It is the sole responsibility of the user to read the SMS alerts on time and the mobile network or the Service provider will not be responsible if the user fails to do so. The mobile network provider shall not be responsible for refunding service charges in such events.
- The user can deactivate the service at any given time by sending the deactivation SMS as mentioned in the above condition related to the deactivation of service (Point 5) or notifying the mobile network provider’s customer service team via helpline – 100
- The user can also deactivate the service by dialing *463# and following the prompts.
- The customer with the highest bid wins the device at auction. The customer is to pick up the device at the Telecel Retail shop and pay the bid amount via Telecel Cash.
- The grace period to pick up the device is one week for customers in Accra or 21 days for customers outside Accra.
- The Bid2win service is available to all customers on the Telecel network.
- In addition to the Terms and conditions laid down by the network provider, the User will be bound by the terms and conditions laid down by service providers Bid2Win related to the services activated by the user.
- Users agree to indemnify the mobile network provider for any technical errors which may occur while accessing the service.
- The network provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time at its discretion.
