1. What is the Fixed Broadband Acquisition Offer?
The acquisition offer is a Fixed Broadband (FBB) offer that gives new customers more value for their money; more data to browse, stream their favorite shows, and stay in touch with family and friends! With the acquisition offer, new FBB customers get onboarded on any of our 8 new acquisition plans and receive a 50% data bonus valid for 15 days on any of the eligible plans. Additionally, customers who make a minimum payment of 3 months’ worth on the eligible plans will have their FBB service installation fee waived off.
2. Who is eligible for this offer?
All new Fixed Broadband (FBB) customers
3. Who is not eligible for the acquisition offer?
Existing FBB customers are not eligible for the acquisition offer.
4. Are the Family Plus Plans core plans?
Yes, these plans are primary offerings on the customer’s FBB account.
5. What is the validity of the Non-Expiry Acquisition Plans?
They do not expire. However, customers must make a payment at least once every three (3) months to keep their account active and use their data balance.
6. Can existing customers change from an existing FBB plan to an acquisition plan?
No, the Family Plus Plans are for new customers only. They are not available for plan change.
7. Can I resubscribe to the Family Plus Acquisition Plan?
Yes, new customers who have been provisioned on the new Acquisition Plans can continue to enjoy this offer until they change plans to any of our other existing core plans – Standard, Flexi , etc.
8. I decided to change my plan to a standard core plan, can I come back to my previous acquisition plan?
No, you cannot come back. The Family Plus Acquisition Plans are strictly for the onboarding of new customers.
9. Do I get another 50% bonus upon resubscription?
No. The 50% bonus data is a one-off data bonus for new fixed broadband customers.
10. How can I receive the 50% bonus data?
New customers will receive the bonus data within 24 hours after their service has been installed, configured and activated.
11. What is the least amount a new customer must pay for a plan to be eligible for the 50% bonus?
All new customer who onboard unto any of our Family Plus Acquisition Plans will receive the 50% bonus data.
12. What happens if I do not exhaust my 30-Day Acquisition Plan before the expiration date?
The broadband plan has a grace period of 7-days after the expiry date within which a new subscription will rollover any remaining data balance on the account.
13. Do existing customers qualify for this offer?
Existing customers are not eligible for this offer. This offer is specifically for only new Fixed Broadband customers. There are other exciting offers and promotions available for existing customers such as the Too Moorch offer, which gives customers a whooping 100% data bonus for just GHs120.
14. Why did I not receive the 50% bonus data even though I am a new FBB customer?
You must be subscribed to an eligible plan to receive the 50% bonus data. If you have subscribed to an eligible plan as a new customer and still did not receive your 50% bonus allocation, kindly contact our customer support via 0501555600 or 0505555111 from other networks.
15. I am an existing customer who requested for a relocation of my FBB service to my new location, am I eligible for the acquisition offer?
No, you are not eligible.
16. How do I manage my account after getting onto the FBB service?
You can manage your account by visiting Telecel Play Login or by downloading the Telecel Play App http://bit.ly/4doBKBl. Alternatively, you can manage your account via *900# on any Telecel Play mobile number.
