Telecel Ghana is introducing the Independence Day offer to give our customers more value. Two bundles will be available offering 6GB at GHs10 valid for 3 days and 10GB at GHs 15 valid for 3 days. These offers will be available on USSD via *700# and on Telecel Play App. 

 

Q. Who are the customers eligible for this offer?

Ans.  This offer is available to all mobile prepaid subscribers and select hybrid customers. 

 

Q. Where can I purchase this offer?

Ans.  This offer can be purchased from the *700# USSD channel and on Telecel Play App. 

 

Q. What payment option shall I have to buy this offer

Ans: Customers will have two (2) payment options to buy this offer – via Airtime or via Telecel Cash 

 

Q. What will happen if I have an active bundle and then buy this offer?

Ans: This offer can co-exist with other bundles and will have usage priority when this happens.  

Night and hourly data bundles are exempted from the usage priority rule as these bundles are treated as special bundles. 

 

Q.  On what day shall this offer be available for purchase?

Ans: This offer will be available for purchase on 6th March 2025 only via *700# and on Telecel Play App. 

 

Q. How can a customer purchase this offer?

Ans: Customer can purchase the offer by dialling the USSD short code *700# and then select Option 9. Independence Offer to select their desired offer. The Independence Day bundles will also be available on the Telecel Play App under Mobile Bundles.

 

Q. Will this offer change the customer’s profile?

Ans: No, this offer will not change the customer profile. 

 

Q. How can I check my bundle balance?

Ans: Bundle balance can be checked via USSD on *126# or via the Telecel Play App. 

 

Q. Can I purchase this offer multiple times?

Ans: Yes, repeat and multiple purchases are allowed. However, this can only be done on the designated public holiday.
