What is the One4Sure insurance?
The One4Sure plan is a quarterly renewable insurance product designed to provide support for death and funeral costs for Telecel Cash wallet holders.
Who is eligible for coverage under this policy?
The funeral policy covers a main life who must be a Telecel Cash customer.
Is there a waiting period?
There is no waiting period when death occurs due to accident. However, there is a waiting period of one (1) month for death due to natural causes.
How do I file a claim in the event of a covered loss?
To request a claim, the current beneficiary or next of kin registered on the Telecel Cash wallet can simply fill a claim request form online (www.oldmutual.com.gh) or visit any Telecel branch to show proof of death.
What happens if my interest paid is less than the premium
If interest paid is less than the premium amount of GHS 1.00, you will not be eligible for your insurance cover for that quarter. However, your subscription will still be valid.
What happens if I miss a premium payment
There is no grace period and missed premium because of insufficient funds from interest paid or wallet will result in no cover for the policy term which shall be the next quarter.
Can I cancel the policy, and if so, what are the terms for cancellation?
There is a cool-off period of 30 days within which the policyholder has the right to cancel the policy. All premiums paid will be returned provided that no insured event has happened within this period. After the cool-off period, the policyholder may still give notice to cancel the policy, but no premiums will be returned.
Is the policy renewable?
Yes, the policy is renewable quarterly.
