   Ans: As part of the annual Telecel SME month celebration, Telecel Cash merchants are being rewarded for accepting payments from Telecel Cash customers on their merchant accounts. The offer is an equal revenue share with a merchant each time a customer makes a payment to that merchant

   Ans: Merchants are being rewarded with 50% of the charges Telecel Cash customers pay to them (merchants)

3. How long will the promo run for?

Ans: The promo will take effect from Monday, 2^nd September 2024. It will run for the whole month of September 2024

4. What are the benefits of the promo to the Telecel business?
   Ans: * The intention is to encourage acceptance of digital payments over accepting Cash. Merchants will be enticed to upsell merchant payments if they are being rewarded each time they receive payments

   * The push from merchants as mentioned above will increase subscriber loyalty to the service, thereby increasing value to the business

5. Do merchants need to subscribe to benefit?
   Ans: No. All merchants are automatically rewarded each time they receive payments

6. Is there a cap on the number of rewards a merchant earns?
   Ans: No, the merchant will be rewarded as many times as payments are received (while the promo still runs)

7. Do customers pay any extra fee to accommodate this reward?
   Ans: No. Customers pay the standard fee of 0.5% of the transaction value. The fee is capped at 7ghs

8. Will merchants be informed when they receive the reward?
   Ans: Yes, this will be stated in the SMS notification they receive once payment is received

9. Are merchant payments from all channels going to trigger this reward?
   Ans: Yes, all payments made from existing channels available to the subscriber will trigger rewards to the merchant

10. How much should a merchant receive to earn the reward?
