Standing Order on Fixed Broadband is a financial arrangement where Fixed consumer customers instruct Telecel Ghana to make regular and fixed bill payments into their broadband accounts at scheduled intervals
- How do I create a standing order?
To set up a standing order:
- Log in to Telecel Play Web https://play.telecel.com.gh/ and select Standing Order from the quick actions menu
- Indicate the standing order name and enter the standing order amount
- Input your Telecel cash number, start date and end date for the standing order
- Approve your subscription with your Telecel cash PIN
- Can I change the details of a standing order after it is created? (for example, amount, start date, or debit wallet number)
No, once the standing order is created, you can only create a new one or deactivate the existing order. You can manage your standing order by logging into Telecel Play web via https://play.telecel.com.gh/
- How do I log into Telecel Play Web to create a standing order?
Visit the Telecel Play Web at https://play.telecel.com.gh/ and log in with your Telecel Play web or Telecel Play app details associated with your fixed Broadband account
- How do I cancel a standing order?
To deactivate your standing order, visit the Telecel Play web https://play.telecel.com.gh/ and click on unsubscribe to deactivate it. Make sure you unsubscribe before the standing order’s next scheduled deduction date to avoid any unwanted deduction
- Is there a fee for creating or deactivating a standing order?
There’s No fee for creating or deactivating your standing order
- What happens if there are insufficient funds in my account for a standing order?
If there are insufficient funds in your Telecel cash account on the standing order due date, the deduction will fail. The next scheduled frequency date will take effect. It is important to ensure that your account has enough funds to cover your standing order deduction. A pre-debit notification would be sent to the customer
- Can I create a standing order for other services on Telecel Play web?
No, the standing order service is currently on our fixed Broadband service and applicable for only fixed broadband consumer customers
- How can I track my standing orders?
You can track your standing order deductions through our payment history service on Telecel Play web https://play.telecel.com.gh/
- Can I set up a standing order for variable amounts?
Yes, customers can set up to 10 different Standing orders on a fixed broadband account, with different amounts for each standing order. Please note that the standing order amount should be > 0.00 GHS
- Are standing orders secure?
Yes, our standing order services are secure, as they are set up within a protected framework of our system. However, it’s important to keep your account information and PIN confidential and use secure channels when managing your standing orders
