VOICEMAIL
Terms and conditions for Voicemail.
The Telecel voicemail service is a product of Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (operating under the brand name Telecel). Voicemail allows users to receive voice messages from their callers when their phones are unreachable.
- Customers can subscribe to voicemail by dialling **004*+233200201125#.
- Customers who want to unsubscribe from the service can do so by dialling ##004#.
- Customers can manage their service by dialling 2525.
- Once you dial the 2525 code, you can take the following actions;

- Record your name.
- Record your greeting.
- Change our pin.
- There is no subscription fee for subscribing to voicemail.
- If you are on voicemail, your callers will be given the option to leave you a voice message when your phone is unreachable.
- Voicemail will only be activated on the call after your phone has rung for the full duration without you responding.
- After the full duration or the call, instructions on voice mail will be read to your caller. They may either choose to continue or leave a message or end the call.
- While the voicemail instructions are being read, your callers will not be charged.
- Once your caller starts to record the voice message, they will be charged at the standard rate. The maximum duration for the voicemail message is 60 seconds.
- When your callers leave you a voicemail message, you will be notified by SMS.
- You can retrieve your voicemail messages by dialling *0*.
Acceptance of the Terms of Use
- The following provisions define the terms and conditions governing the Product. By subscribing to the usage of this Product, the Subscriber shall be deemed to have consented and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and be bound accordingly.
- All Subscribers warrant that they have read carefully and have understood fully these Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions are in addition to the standard terms and conditions of Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited, which can be found on our website (www.telecel.com.gh).
Limitation of liability
- Telecel accepts no responsibility whatsoever for and without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications, line failure when it is not under its direct control.
- Telecel reserves the right to suspend the Product temporarily or permanently for legal, regulatory and for operational reasons (e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades) whenever it is deemed necessary. Telecel undertakes where possible to restore the Product as soon as practicable after any temporary suspension period. Telecel shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or injuries whatsoever the Customer may suffer as a result any such suspension.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- Telecel makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Product will be uninterrupted and error-free.
- Neither Telecel nor any of its directors, employees, agents, or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any Customer for participating in the Product.
Miscellaneous
- Telecel reserves the right to terminate, suspend, cancel, or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes may be posted online and shall be binding on a Customer.
- In the event of dispute regarding the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions, conduct and all other matters relating to the offer the decision of Telecel shall be final and without appeal.
- These Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect while the offer lasts (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the offer for operational reasons, e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
